Give a gift that will last forever... a stone in Dresden's reconstructed Frauenkirche.

Friends of Dresden's Board of Directors has committed the organization's time and energy to help raise funds for the largest architectural restoration of its kind in history - the rebuilding of the Frauenkirche at a projected cost of about $175 million. You are invited to join people of many nations to restore the Frauenkirche as a symbol of world peace. All gifts are welcome. Friends of Dresden invites benefactors to consider major gifts for the symbolic adoption of significant features of the restoration in the American Wing or Chancel. Opportunities for adoption range from one-of-a-kind elements such as the high Altar to pews, bells and columns to individual stones. Gifts may be pledged over a period of several years. Donors of $10,000 and more may adopt a seat in the Nave. The name of each donor will be prominently listed on an engraved plaque mounted on the seat. Each donor will receive a lucite encased replica of the name plate and an individually inscribed certificate. A gift of $2,000 will be recognized as the symbolic adoption of an individual stone in the restoed Frauenkirche. The donor will be listed on an engraved plaque mounted in the Church, and receive an architectural rendering as well as an individually inscribed certificate bearing a gold seal. Donors of $1,200 will have their names listed on an engraved plaque mounted in the church and receive a certificate with a silver seal. Donors of $400 will have their names listed in a special register kept on permanent display at the Frauenkirche and receive a certificate with a bronze seal.
